![]() 12th Annual SWOA Football Official's Clinic THE ONLY LOCAL CLINIC FEATURING LIVE SCRIMMAGE TIME Date: August 15th and 16th, 2008 Location: TBD (Madison area) Clinic Summary This is the SWOA 12th annual clinic and we will try hard to continue to build on the success that we have had in the past years. It is the only local clinic to offer live on field scrimmage time for all officials. We are hoping that as in the past to be using the facilities at Monona Grove and Madison LaFollette High Schools. This will all be determined soon and will be updated as this happens. On Friday we will have new rules review, video, and guest speaker. We will end the night with a social at the Pizza Oven. On Saturday we will have position breakouts, that will cover in detail position, keys etc. We will also go through mechanics review. We will then split to both High Schools and cover their scrimmages, work along with their drills and then finish with video review. Clinic Staff Our staff again this year will comprise of High School and College officials from the Wisconsin area. There will be many years of experience here to help and offer suggestions. WIAA Approval Any WIAA official, who attends the clinic, must be both days, will be given credit for one varsity game for L4, L5, or Master. L1, L2, L3 officials will be allowed to advance one level in classification. Post Scrimmage Review After the scrimmage on Saturday we will have video review on your performance. This will be done in the different position groups. During this time you will have the opportunity to ask questions, on philosophy, rules, mechanics. Application and Fees If you are interested in joining us for the 12th Annual SWOA Football Clinic, please complete the registration form and enclose a check for $65. The deadline for applications is Friday August 1, 2008. There will be no walk up registration. All participants must be registered by the above date. SPACE IS LIMITED. RESERVE YOUR SPOT EARLY! This is a position-oriented clinic-we will try to accommodate crews working together but cannot promise scrimmage time as a whole crew. NO WALK IN ON-SITE REGISTRATION. YOU MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE. DEADLINE AUGUST 1, 2008. Registration Form Lodging We have reserved a block of rooms at the AmericInn on Monona Drive.
