 The SWOA is widely recognized as one of the premiere officiating organizations in the state of Wisconsin. The Association has been chosen as the professional officiating organization for over 100 officials spanning most high school sports.

The primary focus of the SWOA is related to football and basketball officiating. These two sports have two elected SWOA officers overseeing and organizing continuing education operations for officials. These activities include multiple meetings with prominent guest speakers, rules & mechanics review as well as an annual clinic.
